This tool enables users to intuitively draw absolute pitch curves that can be applied to pre-existing sounds, utilizing granular synthesis techniques. It serves as an excellent platform for sketching musical concepts, exploring alternative scales, and engaging in various nuanced audio manipulations.
The software pays homage to the renowned UPIC machine, originally developed by Iannis Xenakis alongside the engineers at CEMAMu in 1977, thus highlighting a legacy of avant-garde music technology.
